SSCBS hosted an invigorating session led by Mr. Deepak Bagla the former CEO of Invest India and World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies.

Converting Innovation Into A Startup

SSCBS Innovation & Incubation Foundation (SIIF) conducted a workshop on "Converting Innovation Into A Startup" where students of SSCBS presented their startup idea and received valuable feedback from the expert. 

The Workshop focused primarily on educating students regarding How to pitch, How they can make their Pitch deck more effective, give them insight on how to do market research for their product, How to Craft a Compelling Startup Pitch that Wows Investors and Customers, and this workshop is primarily focused on empowering entrepreneurs.

IMPORTANCE OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHT FOR STARTUPS

The speaker highlighted that every business has a trademark, even without legal backing. Students learned about the significance of trademarks and also learn the best practices related to trademarks. Understand the concept of industrial designs and their protection.

WE-Summit was a powerful initiative aimed at empowering women in startups. With speaker sessions, panel discussions, and a successful B-Plan competition, it celebrated the resilience of women entrepreneurs, redefining the business landscape.

ALL BALL: VOLLEYBALL 2X2

Chronicles Sporting Events, in partnership with SIIF, successfully organized a dynamic 2X2 Beach Volleyball Tournament at Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies on 26th August 2023. Teams from across Delhi showcased exceptional talent, with Team Systumm emerging triumphant in an intense final match.

Lean Startup and Minimum Viable Product/Business

The Event focused primarily on educating attendees regarding How Startups fail if they run out of patience or money, gave insight on how to earn revenue streams, and introduced the concept of MVP. Also talked about small intricacies (patents, design trademarks) that are usually missed while running a business through his EV charging business which is a LEAN STARTUP.

Young CEO Program

The Objective of the Event is to promote Entrepreneurship in Young Mindset among School Students, an upcoming Founder with their great innovative ideas, “Young CEO’s at SIIF”

This five days bootcamp was one of the most remarkable programs for young student entrepreneurs and is the unique combination of idea and execution that requires an understanding of design, product making, finance, marketing, and selling. Think Startup along with SIIF SSCBS initiated this 5 day supercharged Bootcamp Program which allows students to come up with their own business ideas, get them tested, prepare the blue-print of making the idea real, understand the nuances of customer discovery and product launch, all culminating in a business plan pitch to a real investor.

E-Summit’23

The B-Plan competition is an Annual Event organized with SIIF in collaboration with TEB CVS college of Vocational studies. The competition was held on 21st April 2023. There were an exclusive group of distinguished investors who graced E-Summit ’23 with their presence.

These remarkable visionaries have not only invested their valuable time, but also their unparalleled expertise and resources into some of India’s most successful ventures. The Investors and the startup founders gave their invaluable contributions to the E-Summit’23.

How to succeed as an Entrepreneur and deep insights into the swiss

The objective of the event is to encourage the SSCBS students an entrepreneurial mindset and advised them to see the real world.

Both the speakers illuminated about the career path Ms. Ansuya Ahluwalia and Mr. Karan Jain shared their learnings which is “what is easier to know what you don’t want to do vs what you want to do – start and reiterate it. How one can succeed himself/herself as an entrepreneur, also speak to as many people about your ideas as possible.

The Event Focused on a vibrant startup Ecosystem in the country with 88000+ recogniz ed startups by the DPIIT, Startup India, Government of India. With the improvement in Global Innovation Index, India now ranks 40th in the world.

101 Session on Building a Career in Startups, Founder Pack and Intro to VC.

Essentially, the purpose of inviting Mr Pranav Obhrai was to introduce Freshers to the world of startups, enlightening them on how companies operate and suggesting literature that could ignite their interest, among other things.

Our primary objective was to link Mr Pranav with budding entrepreneurs so that they might gain inspiration and momentum in their entrepreneurial endeavors. Upon experiencing the opportunities and exhilarating experience in the startup industry, I’m confident that most first-year students would start brainstorming on concepts they were previously reluctant to pursue.

Webinar on Entrepreneurship “Get Started”

The Objective of the webinar is to encourage the Entrepreneurship mindset in Students and talked about startups and how to expand it in a particular field. He guided the role of business communication in real-life business

He explained the steps that how entrepreneurship characteristics help students in the future, and also this webinar inspired the student participants and woke up their inner entrepreneurial spirit so that they at the very least start thinking about problems in the hopes of starting a business. They were given an overview of the steps with which any person can actualise their idea and turn it into a business. Mr. Gagan also gave insightful and inspiring advice to many students who had doubts about their ability as upcoming entrepreneurs, this gave the students clarity and enormous confidence to move ahead with their Innovative ideas and to develop a successful business.

"Mil-En" Network. Elevate. Disrupt

On the occasion of National Entrepreneurship Day, SIIF presented "Mil-En", a day devoted to networking, connecting, and engaging; a gathering place for the best minds with an entrepreneurial passion.

More than 10 entrepreneurship cells

from colleges including SRCC, Ramjas, CVS, Stephens, and others participated in the

event. The event kicked off with a speaker session on the topic ‘Building a startup from

scratch’ by Mr. Himanshu Wardhan, the founder of Thevasa. Following this, a business

quiz called “Bizz- Bee” was held to assess the participants’ knowledge. Then came

“Stack your Startup,” an investor pitch session based on the results of a Pithu game that

involved the concepts of business and startup ecosystem.
